The Washington DC regional member get-together was fabulous. We had cocktail and dinner The George Town Club, followed the next day with a tour and luncheon at Marjorie Merriweather Posts estate Hillwood. For a full article with numerous photos see the current issue (2/2009).

The latest issue, 2/2009, of the Society Journal is out. This is an amazing issue

FIRST Duke & Duchess of Windsor Society Member Survey of Top 10 Favorite Windsor-Related books
Expressing my opinion is just about one of my favorite things to do. You can now share with other members and the rest of the world, your favorite nonfiction books related to the Duke & Duchess of Windsor. Just complete the survey online by clicking on the link below or dowload the enclosed pdf file and email it to booksurvey@ddows.org.

The results will be available in the Society journal after next and will accompany the rollout of the Society's official WE bibliography that is being compiled by author, librarian and Society Member India Edghill (NY). The bibliography will be a work in progress but will initially be published in the upcoming Society Journal. It will then be posted on this website and will be available to anyone who visits. Please express your opinions about WE books....visitors will see the results of the survey along with the official bibliography. This Member survey will be done periodically in the future to include new members and new book titles.

The first regional Member luncheon was held on November 1, 2008 at the The Queen Mary in Long Beach. It was hosted by Society Member Michael Botsko (CA). See the group photo below.
